Sphora by OPI: Urban Ballerina - Leotard

So I've been trying this nail polish I got at Sephora out for some weeks now and I am completely loving it. It is a great nude pink creamy nail color that looks super natural wen you're wearing it and just really flatters your hand.

The color is a nude/pink with beige undertones. It is as always with OPI polishes, creamy and very well pigmented and costs $9. This was not in their permanent collection, it was in their beautiful Urban Ballerina new collection which I'm pretty sure was inspired by the movie 'Black Swan.' So get this no while it's still available!! I hope you like it as much as I do, it's my new go to color

-the picture below doesn't really look true to the color, it's just a little off with the nailpolish since I had to use the flash. my hands though XD please ignore that, the flash mad my skin look really old, yellow, and made my skin look sick by accentuating every line I had in my hand ;(

Urban Ballerina - Leotard
Please excuse the horribly looking skin..

GIANT Biscuit

I think it's bigger than my head..o.o

Why do I have a baby face?

....because I'm asian!! XP

After my sad attempt to make an up do bun with my hair (it flopped right backed down after I pinned it with a dozen or so bobby pens T-T) which I braved through the tremendous amount of it (I have a LOT of hair) I decided to take a picture of the whole mess. I admit I had to steady my hand and wipe the mirror -because it's so dirty as you can still see the stains on it- to actually get a decent shot, and on my discoveries of taking numerous photos of myself I discover..."Oh no! Does my face really look like that?! I look like an 8 year old!"

Some of you may be thinking, "Oh, that's not so bad, I wished I had a baby face too"
NO. You don't. Before this, I actually thought I looked 'mature, sophisticated, -- dare I say, sexy?' Well the pictures I took *&#%$ slapped me in the face and said "Sailor Moon praising little Chinese girl!" ..Do you see my dismay? And with every shot I took of  my face just was..agghrr! This was one of the decent ones where you actually don't see my face with all its baby-ness. This may be due to the fact that I have NO makeup on, which I'm still pondering why I posted this with my naked face. Though even with my makeup, I don't think I look that different because it mainly consists of base makeup with blush and a little lip tint, I don't really wear liner or eye makeup so..=/

After fiddling with my hair for a good 20 or so minutes, I discover if I put parts of my hair on either side of my face, which is really long, you'll see pictures soon, it frames my face quite nicely and makes me look like I'm out on business -or something like that :P
Probably one of the biggest things that make my face so babyish are my eyebrows and forehead, it is bi-i-ig.. which I didn't put in the picture as you can see. I actually shaped my eyebrows to look like the Korean styles you see that so many of the celebrities have, well, they were already thick so all I had to do was a pluck a few and *poof* -Korean celebrity eyebrows! :)

And that was my rant on the discovery of my baby face, thank you for taking the time out of your very important life to read this waste of a 2 minute post. >.<

-- but hey, my nails looked pretty good with the little bit of clear gloss I put on them (^.^)/ hehe

China Doll Necklace

So on Sunday, I went shopping around, not looking for anything in particular and I happened to snatch this cute little necklace at forever 21. Its a design of a small bobble china doll with parts are cut. I love the way it's cut and bonded together with metal rings, and since its metal, it feels really good to fiddle around with when you have nothing else to do :P not like i do that..

Another thing, the necklace comes down to the the lower part of my chest, so it's fairly long and does a great job at making you think your neck is longer, e-long-gate. --it looked really good with my outfit for the day which composed of a creme colored shirt with red stripes and jeans, nothing really exciting so with this necklace added, it made a little zing to it because it looks so so cute!

And for a low price of $3.80 and it was a steal I couldn't resist.

Ilamasqua Baptiste

For those of you who don't know, illamasqua is a brand from Europe that is has dramatically beautiful colors that tingle your senses. They are a great brand of makeup and their products astound me.

This particular product I am reviewing is their nail varnish in Baptiste, which is a very pretty shade of dark purple with fine shimmer in it. I bought this online with my own money at sephora because the sephora here unfortunately does not have a illamasqua stand :( oh well. I love it though. It is so pigmented that with only 2 coats, you get the result that you see in the bottle. It also is glossy when you apply and has no streak marks (even when I'm at home applying with my shaky left hand!). This nail polish, to me, is beyond opi, though they have their great ones, and it should be with a hefty price tag of $16.00 for 0.5oz and opi nail polishes are only $9 for the same amount. I think it worth the price though if you consider:

PROS
-leaves a gloss
-no streaks
-highly pigmented
-the color is SO pretty :)
-it has a nice shimmer to it

Go out and take a look at it, I'm sure you'll love it ^^ comment and leave your thoughts on what you think about it
